Women of Inspiration Award
Every year since 2005, alumnae chapters have nominated Panhellenic sisters for recognition by
the Northern Virginia Alumnae Panhellenic Association at a yearly event. Over the years, the
award has had several iterations, but the core purpose has always remained the same.
Promoting the Sorority experience is one of the main priorities of the National Panhellenic
Conference and we are proud to be able to recognize those dedicated alumnae who inspire our
members (collegiate and alumnae) to live the values of their sorority.

How To Nominate A Sister
The nominee may be any member of your alumnae chapter or a member of another NPC organization involved in NVAPA. Submissions may be submitted by an alumnae chapter and/or individual members. Please send all nominations to nvapawofi@gmail.com by 3/18/24.
Requirements
Nomination form must have the required information - name, email, affiliation, address, phone
Nomination form must have nominator contact information and affiliation included
You may only nominate one (1) woman from your organization
Nomination is limited to 300 words in paragraph form (NO resumes)
Please attach picture of your nominee
Please indicate if NVAPA has the nominee’s permission to post her picture on our social media and if we might also include some information from the nomination statement.
